Traditional Persian · Glasgow West End

The classics,
done properly.

Charcoal-grilled kebabs, stews from the pot, mazzeh plates to share.

Family-run · over a decade as Paradise · reborn 2021

Charcoal-grilled koubideh kebabs and jewelled saffron rice with grilled tomato, laid on a wooden board
A feast, mid-table
A candlelit mazzeh spread to share — a walnut-topped dip and beetroot bourani on dark wood

Around the sofreh

Everyone reaches in.

Sharing food around a sofreh — the cloth a meal is laid on — is the heart of Iranian cooking.

For over a decade we were Paradise, the West End’s Persian kebab house. In 2021 we turned the page: same charcoal grill, same stews from the pot, now with mazzeh plates to share — all made with the finest Scottish produce.

The sofreh is laid.
The charcoal is on.

Koubideh kebab on saffron rice with grilled tomato, beside a platter of charcoal-grilled skewers and vegetables
Mazzeh bowls on wood — spiced potatoes with feta and chilli, saffron chicken, pomegranate salad and olives

The best of both — off the coals and out of the pot, laid for sharing.

Can’t make it in?

Saffron travels well.

The same kebabs and stews, boxed for the West End.
